Alex Wilcox is a 2021 Graduate (B.S.) of Kent State University and an aspiring college sports broadcaster. He has over 150 hours of sports talk radio experience and has covered over 100 live college sporting events.
From 2017-2021, Wilcox served as a play-by-play broadcaster for the Black Squirrel Sports Network, an affiliate of the Kent State student radio station Black Squirrel Radio. He has called over 60 college basketball games live, both for Kent State men’s basketball and for other national programs. Notable events that Wilcox has broadcasted include 3 MAC tournaments (2018, 2019, 2021), 2 NCAA Sweet Sixteens (2019, 2021), and one NCAA Final Four (2021).
